$5.9 Million Dollar Settlement over FCRA

U.S. District Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer approved a $5.9 million dollar settlement in a class-action lawsuit over the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The class plaintiffs accused a school bus service of violating FCRA when it obtained criminal background check reports about its employees without their authorization.
