The nextseason for CAN TV21 is approaching. The 13 week program will appear every weekon Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. as part of the Hotline series line up on CAN TV 21,beginning April 15, 2012 and ending June 28, 2012. In addition to being shownon CAN TV21, the show will be streaming live online at www.cantv.org.
The Cook County Bar Association’s (CCBA) Cable TV committee was first created by President Deborah Fortier in the 2006-2007 bar year. Since that time, the Cable TV committee has created and produced a live 25-minute hotline show on CAN TV 21 in Chicago. The CCBA’s Cable TV committee completed its most recent run of shows during the months of April 2011 through June 2011 (“2011 Spring Season”).
During the 2011 Spring Season, some of the show’s guests were:
- Past CCBA President Marian Perkins on the topic of Expungement;
- State Rep. Andre Thapedi on the topic of pending state and local legislation;
- Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Natalie Howse on the topic of Criminal Law;
- Attorney Marcellus Moore on the topic of Paternal Rights Issues in Family Law;
- Attorney Robert Wilson on the topic of Worker’s Compensation;
- Attorney Jaime Dowell on the topic of Bankruptcy; and
- Attorney Rochelle Claerbaut on the topic of Trademark and Copyright
Are you interested in becoming a part of the Cable TV committee for the Cook County Bar Association? The Cable TV committee is seeking hosts, guests and phone technicians for the hotline show.
